Geography
The islands of São Tomé
and Príncipe are located approximately
300 km from the west coast of Africa, and are crossed
by the Equator line.
Next to the southern extremity of São Tomé
is the island of the Rolas where there is a geographical
marker indicating the precise place where the Equator
Line crosses.
